Each team will work together evaluating the achievement of the countries of the group in achieving the targets set for each one of the MDGs 4-5-6.  Gather data to document the stage in which each nation was set to achieve the next three Millennium Development Goals, as measured by the corresponding targets and indicators:

• MDG 4: Reduce child mortality
• MDG 5: Improve maternal health
• MDG 6: Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases
• Tables for MDGs 4-5-6

Targets for MDG4

1. Reduce by two thirds the mortality rate among children under five  

• Under-five mortality rate
• Infant mortality rate
• Proportion of 1-year-old children immunized against measles

Targets for MDG 5

1. Reduce by three quarters the maternal mortality ratio  
2. Achieve universal access to reproductive health & inadequate funding for family planning is a major failure in fulfilling commitments to improving women’s reproductive health  

Targets for MDG6

1. Halt and begin to reverse the spread of HIV/AIDS  
2. Achieve, by 2010, universal access to treatment for HIV/AIDS for all those who need it  
3. Halt and begin to reverse the incidence of malaria and other major diseases
