University of New England College of Dental Medicine (250 or more words each)
the mission of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine is to improve the health of Northern New England as well as rural and underserved areas while shaping the future of dentistry through excellence in education, discovery, and service. Please describe (a) why you are a good fit for the UNE CDM, given its mission, and (b) what your personal mission will be as a dentist in the future.
2. What is the most important trait or characteristic a healthcare provider should possess, and why? How will you embody this trait as a dental student and future dentist?
3. Please respond to both parts of this prompt: (1) Describe an obstacle you expect to face in dental school. What steps will you take to overcome it? (2) When a person is overwhelmed, it helps to adjust one’s perspective by remembering the “big picture.” Why will the dental school be worth it, despite all of the work and stress?
