Organizational Change

Write an essay on organizational change. In this essay, discuss why it is important for leaders to manage the change process. Include the following elements in your essay:

•Organizational Change Defined. In this section of your paper, define, describe and illustrate what you mean by organizational change. (1 paragraph)

•Motivating Change. In this section of your paper, share how you will plan to manage change for the intervention that you proposed in Week 5. How will you create readiness for change? How will you overcome resistance to change in this organization? (2 paragraphs)

•Creating a Vision. In this section of your paper, state your vision for the change that you proposed. Describe the core ideology of your vision and state clearly how you envision the future. How will you create this vision from an ethical standpoint? (2-3 paragraphs)

•Developing Political Support. In this section of your paper, discuss how you develop political support for the change that you proposed. Assess change agent power, identify the key stakeholder, and discuss how you influence those key stakeholders. Make sure to discuss how you will develop this political support without becoming manipulative or unethical. (3 paragraphs)

•Managing the Transition. In this section of your paper, discuss how you will manage the transition of change. Discuss the activity planning, commitment planning, and management structures. (2-3 paragraphs)

•Sustaining the Momentum. In this section of your paper, discuss how you will sustain the momentum toward the change. (2-3 paragraphs)

•Professional Ethics. In this section of your paper, discuss the values that you bring to the OD practitioner role and how this will be beneficial as you serve as an OD practitioner. (1 paragraph)

•OD Issue. In the organization that will be the focus for this course, what organizational issue can you identify that requires organizational development and change? (1-2 paragraphs)

•Conclusion. In this section, write a clear and concise conclusion to your essay.

•References. Make sure to integrate at least three sources.
