I have started this assignment already, just need to be fixed and finished
Here are the main points that should be covered:
1. Educate us about what your organization does. After learning more about them/or working with them in person, were you able to get a realistic picture of the organization? Explain both its strengths and weaknesses, and both its opportunities and threats how you saw them through your experience.
2. Applying the concepts and theories learned in the course, demonstrate how this organization fits in the overall picture of the nonprofit sector in the U.S., and identify relevant issues, challenges and debates with respect to nonprofit management in this particular organization and for the nonprofit sector more generally.
3. Reflecting on the required readings of this module, elaborate (1) whether you think that the staff of your selected organization experience any emotional labor at work (See Remington's article), (2) what types of HR strategies the organization applies to manage volunteers and their experience (See Einolf's article)? (hint: in case you think that your organization does not have any volunteers, think about the Board of the Directors. These guys are not paid, and thus volunteer, right?)
4. Convey the importance of the work done by the organization.
5. Include in-text citations and a references section.
EACH SUBMISSION FINISHES WITH A CRITICAL REFLECTION:
a one-page Critical Reflection Section to your final report, where you discuss
how the project links to (1) course objectives, (2) the impact of the nonprofits' work in the community, and (3) the impact on the students’ personal and professional development.
By now, you have identified a nonprofit, preferably local, and closely studied its operations. While observing the nonprofit, you probably have collected more information about it than is available solely on their website.
Now, it is the time to submit your final paper, which will be 8-10 page double-spaced, 12 pt. document (Title page and references do not count towards the total of pages). This document should summarize the key descriptions of that nonprofit and reflect on each Module of our online course. The in-text citations and references to our readings and videos as well as a reference list are the necessary components of the final paper.
Your language should be formal and professional.
Note, the history of the organization should occupy no more than one page. Please, get into the details of the organizational structure, composition of the board, volunteer management, fundraising sources and etc. as soon as possible.
