Thinking
Deeper: Part 4 - Transformation View Assignment Instructions
Overview
The purpose of these Thinking Deeper Assignments
is to encourage you to think critically and theoretically about issues you will
cover in this course. You are expected to seek out biblical, philosophical, and
scientific sources to answer the question presented and are expected to
demonstrate depth of thought.
In the video, “Christianity and Psychology – Eric
Johnson,” Dr. Johnson mentions that he puts the Transformation view under a
Christian psychology view. These views were just recently separated out for
your text. Do you think the Transformation view should stand as its own
viewpoint on the relationship between Christianity and psychology, or should it
be contained within the Christian psychology view? Please explain your thoughts
on this and present a strong argument for your answer.
