Using APA style (double spaced), write an essay of 1,250 to 1,500 words outlining how you would
address the following situation. In May of 2020, the Hartford (CT) Police Department wrapped two
of their patrol vehicles with jigsaw puzzle pieces for Autism Awareness Month. Response was fast
and furious on social media from the autistic community and other advocates for various reasons
(do the research), including puzzle pieces being seen, by some, as a symbol of racism. In your paper,
identify your position on this situation, the audiences you must communicate with, what mediums
you would use to convey your message, what would you do and say, and why?
