Students will work on creating a PowerPoint that discusses the AAPC Code of Ethics. This assignment aligns with the PLO Outcome 2 that states "Students will relate their knowledge of ethics to healthcare through written assignments and oral presentations." This is the Assessment Measure 1 that states "Students will create a PPT discussing the code of ethics and how it relates in the healthcare setting".
AAPC stands for American Academy of Professional Coders. Once you reach your final semester of this program, we will continue to prepare you to sit for the CPC (Certified Professional Coders) Exam. Once you have completed and passed this exam, you will be a CPC through the AAPC. In this assignment, you will create a PPT that explains the AAPC Code of Ethics.
