Assignment:

On September 27, 2023, Michigan State University fired Head Football Coach Mel Tucker for “inappropriate behavior”. Citing language in his contract, the university stated that he was fired “for cause” and, therefore, the university is not required to pay liquidated damages to Coach Tucker. Tucker claims that he did not violate the terms of his contract and is suing the university saying that he was fired “without cause” and is due to be paid liquidated damages as outlined in his contract.

For this activity, you are to research and review the facts of Coach Tucker’s termination and analyze relevant areas of the contract. You are required to find two references to research the situation. Your summary should address the following questions.
