Finding Your ACE Score.pdf
Please read carefully about how common high ACE scores are in our population AND Answer this questions below after taking the attached TEST
3. Write a short reflection here (2 - 3 paragraphs total) about what you learned about what an ACE score is, both through the readings and by taking the ACE test. Answer the following questions in your 2 -3 paragraph response: Please note that you do not need to reveal your ACE score or anything about your own childhood experiences to answer these reflection questions.
a) What do you think using the ACE score could help a therapist/helper understand their adult clients? - The ACE score is for adults (18 years old and older), the test was not constructed for children. Include the mental and or physical health problems that are common among people (adults) with a high ACE Score.
b) How can an ACE score help a therapist/helper understand the resiliency of the adult client/people they help? Remember that the ACE test is for adults (18 years old and older). Please be explicit when discussing the results of the ACE score (write about the childhood situations the client likely survived or overcame).
