Discussion: Theory as Application

Now that we have a better understanding of what globalization is, and our sociological imagination, this discussion asks: which theoretical perspective of globalization most aligned with how you view the global social world (or, even, which one made the most sense)? Which did not? Explain why in detail. With the theory you chose to reflect on for the first portion of the prompt, discuss how it would address the problem of global poverty or another social issue that comes to mind - how would the theory explain it? How could this theory provide an ideological solution to a world issue (because solutions are action based, but come from an idea!)?
