The second topic I have thought about is looking into the romanticizing of serial killers. I remember watching the documentaries about Ted Bundy for example, and I was appalled to find out that women would send him love letters and even underwear. Here we have a person that has committed not one but many murders of women, and there are other women who hear his story on the news, think he is attractive, and want a sexual or emotional relationship with him knowing he is dangerous. My curiosity falls into not only the romanticizing of serial killers but how if any role is played with the media such as broadcasting trials, documentaries, or television reenactments.
