For this Assignment, you will practice drafting a purpose statement. Just as with your work in the previous module, you are not bound to the purpose statement you write for this Assignment. Instead, use this as an opportunity to continue building on your scholarly writing skills. The resulting ideas on paper will help you refine your thoughts and ideas as you progress along your journey so that you are prepared when the time comes to write your actual purpose statement. Based on the problem statement you wrote in Module 4, write a purpose statement. Be sure to address the following:
Explain the purpose of the study.
Indicate the design using what you learned from the Doctoral Degree Coach™ tasks and from the examples in the PhD Prospectus Form.
Ensure alignment in the language between the problem and purpose statements.
