The rate of rape reports is consistent between 2022 and 2024, with 2022 having 37 cases, 2023 having 36 cases, and 2024 having 36 cases as well. So far, between Jan 2025 and Oct 2025, there has been a decrease with a reporting of 18 cases. However, this number is likely to change when accounting for November and December. This is because there have only been 5 months within the past 4 years during which a rape was not recorded. It may even increase significantly if we account for the fact that the highest number of rapes recorded in a month was 7 in September 2022. (CDE, 2025).
