Earlier this week, you practiced using factorial ANOVA models with SPSS and, ideally, used the Collaboration Lab to ask, answer, and otherwise address any questions you had. In this Assignment, you apply what you learned to answer a social research question using factorial ANOVA.
Review the datasets provided.
Construct a research question with social change implications based on one of those datasets.
Be sure to focus on the assumptions of this test and ask yourself, “Does it make sense to interpret the mean of this dependent variable?”
Remember that you will need categorical predictor variables.
Use SPSS to answer the research question you constructed. Write an analysis in APA format, including title page, references, and an appendix, that includes your data output and addresses each of the tasks listed below. The content should be 2–3 pages, including setup of the assignment, results, and interpretation of results. Your SPSS output should be included as an appendix.

Early in your Assignment, when you relate which dataset you analyzed, please include the mean of the following variables. If you are using the Afrobarometer Dataset, report the mean of Q1 (Age). If you are using the General Social Survey Dataset, report the mean of Age. If you are using the HS Long Survey Dataset, report the mean of X1SES. Your use the table formatted according to APA style. In Week 1, I provided instructions (via Canvas and email) on how to set up SPSS to produce APA-style tables and graphs. Please follow those steps moving forward:

Open SPSS
Click on Edit → Options → Pivot Tables
Select APA_TimesRoma_12pt
Click Apply

Open SPSS
Click on Edit → Options → Charts (under Chart Template)
Select APA
Click Apply
For reference, your assignment should have included the following components:
a. State the null and alternative hypotheses for the logistic regression analysis.
b. Describe the goals of the analysis.
c. Summarize the overall model results and interpret key findings, including chi-square results and either Nagelkerke R² or Cox & Snell R².
d. Summarize and interpret the results for each predictor variable, including B, Wald’s test, df, p-value, and odds ratio (Exp(B)) for each significant predictor.
e. Interpret the significance of the odds ratios using the effect size conventions from last week’s discussion.
f. Include and reference appropriate tables within your summary (see my sample summary for guidance).
g. Submit the SPSS output file as a separate attachment to confirm your analysis.
