For the first week you will simply be formatting a proper prescription and providing information for patient teaching. In the coming weeks you will need to diagnose your patient, choose a proper medication, format your prescription properly, and provide all of the patient teaching that will be needed by your patient. You may use resources such as UpToDate or Epocrates, your text, or other scholarly resources for your prescribing information. The rapid strep test that you performed in the clinic was positive. So you will write her a prescription for Amoxicillin. She has no known drug allergies and is not pregnant.
